* When used with a camera equipped with an APS-C sensor such as MDX-80D, vignetting may occur at the four corners when used at the wide end (10 mm) and the shooting distance is short. In this case, use the telephoto lens (10.5 mm) or a longer focal length.

Features

・ Uses high quality BK7 glass.
・ Two different anti-reflection coatings are employed to optimize image quality, one for the exterior and one for the interior of the optical domes. A multilayer coating is used on the outside of the domes and the inside of the domes is coated with silicon dioxide to effectively suppress flare and ghosting. As a result, the refractive index of each port is reduced to less than 0.01% and the domes produce extremely high contrast images.

Difference in image quality between the 240 fisheye dome port and the 165 optical dome port in backlit conditions.
