With each new generation of cameras, Sony continues to make great strides in the way images are taken and processed. The Sony a7R V shares the same 61MP sensor as the previous a7R IV, however, it has made great strides in processing capability, bringing improvements across the board. With a newly developed AI processing unit, the Sony a7R V brings a completely new autofocus system that relies on more intelligent subject tracking and recognition. The a7R V features 8 stops of image stabilization and an impressive array of video capabilities, including 10-bit 8K internal recording and 16-bit external RAW recording via HDMI, which are sure to make it a popular choice among underwater photographers.

Sony, pioneers of the full-frame mirrorless camera with their A7 line have brought us their latest iteration and it is awesome. Taking cues from the just-released A9 the A7RIII adds better autofocus, faster continuous shooting, and the still-awesome 5-axis stabilization rated at an amazing 5.5 stops. 4K is recorded from downsampled 5K using the full sensor width or the Super 35 crop mode is also available for a little in-camera zoom.
